In our Aztec and Farmington New Mexico preschool classrooms (free program), we go beyond traditional teaching methods by organizing our learning spaces into centers.
These centers are thoughtfully designed to encourage active play and exploration, providing children with a rich and stimulating environment where they can learn and grow at their own pace.
From sensory exploration to imaginative play, each center is filled with age-appropriate materials and activities that promote learning across various domains.

Our dedicated educators play a pivotal role in facilitating this play-based learning approach. They act as guides and facilitators, supporting children as they explore and discover the world around them. Through intentional interactions and meaningful experiences, our educators foster the development of fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional competence, and foundational academic skills. Our educators have or are working towards their bachelor’s degree in early childhood multicultural education.
